What a fantastic offer! This is an exceptional vintage brooch. This pin is an estate find. It is in exceptionally nice condition. This brooch is an amazing original period Victorian piece. It was fashioned in entirety by the hand of a silversmith quite skilled. This brooch is solid sterling silver. It measures 1 & 5/8 inches length. This ornately detailed pin is a fully functional trembler. The three decorated bells swing and ring. Much of the vintage and antique jewelry had specific significance & meaning. This trumpet horn & bells is no exception. It was given to a loved one(Chrysanthemum flowers), most likely a young adult(in full bloom), in readiness for celebration & victory(trumpet horn) warding(ringing bells) against any(three anticipated) evil or spirit(s) standing in obstruction. In addition, this wonderful piece displays all of the inherent characteristics present to be expected from an original period item. Note the fastener bar extends a full 1/4 inch past the shepherds crook clasp and the barrel hinge with plate and ground end “stop” modification. The pictures are part of the description.
